February 15 2001 - May 10 2005

St. James Park, London, May 2004

This memorial was created in loving memory of Connor Henderson, age 4, my son, whose life story is told within this memorial website. Please sign Connor's guest book and let us know you came to visit. Our memories of Connor will stay within our hearts forever and never fade, for he is not really gone. He is around every corner, running through the house, swinging in the backyard, dancing, always dancing. His warmth and love continues as his never ending spirit for life has changed us all. Forever! We know he waits for us, as we wait, to be together, ever after!

June 2004

Connor was the joy of our lives. His spirit for life was unending. He fought and struggled, almost from birth, to overcome the damages of Shaken-Baby Syndrome, always moving forward, always a little behind, only to be diagnosed with a very rare cancer in his brain at the age of just three years. Given 3 months to live this beautiful boy continued on, he was a warrior prince, always smiling, always loving, we shared another 13 months of joy & love. We filled our days with memories, hugs, cuddles and finally, good-byes. Connor's battle ended at home, on a soft Spring morning, as the morning sun was just coming up. I kissed his sweet face and knew the sunshine was for him. The Creator was welcoming His sweet spirit home.

Summer 2001

Son of my heart, Connor, 3 months old, came to me in fostercare. As I gazed at this battered baby in his full body cast, I knew my son at once, "Where have you been, I've been waiting such a very long time!" I was 54 when I adopted Connor, God had sent me this wonderous gift, I never looked back. A truly God given gift, four years of love, my baby, my only son. Truly, miracles do happen!
